Simple, Transparent Tuition
We believe families deserve to see pricing before they ever walk in the door. Here's exactly how tuition works at The Dance Collective, the little studio with big heart.
Monthly tuition, based on your total weekly hours
Tuition is billed monthly from September 1 through June 1 and calculated from the total amount of class time each individual dancer attends each week. We take the total cost of the season and divide it into 10 equal monthly payments, auto-drafted on the 1st of each month. Whether your dancer is in Discover, Spark, Inspire, Empower, Thrive or our adult classes, you'll always have one clear monthly rate per dancer.

2026–2027 monthly rates
Monthly tuition for the 2026–2027 season by the total amount of class time your dancer attends each week. Ten equal payments, September through June, auto-drafted on the 1st of each month.
Monthly tuition is required regardless of absences, including vacations and illness. Additional seasonal costs include dress code shoes and attire, showcase tights, recital tickets and optional extras like merchandise, program ads and Picture Week photos.
Registration, costume & showcase fees
A few additional fees support enrollment and our end-of-year recital. We keep them clear and predictable so there are no surprises.
Annual registration fee
A non-refundable, once-a-season registration fee holds your dancer's spot: $50 for one student or $90 for two or more, due upon registration.
Costume fee (per routine)
Approximately $100 per costume, billed in two installments on October 1 and November 1. Every costume is chosen with our Modest Costuming value in mind and is yours to keep.
Showcase fee
$70 per student plus $35 per additional dancer, due February 15. It includes one ticket, a digital video download and a recital t-shirt, and helps cover the theatre, staging, lighting and audio for our annual showcase.

The more your family trains with us, the more you save. Ask us how these apply to your dancer at registration.
Multi-Class
Because tuition is billed by total weekly class time, every additional class your dancer adds lowers the effective hourly rate, so exploring ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and more always pays off.
Family Discount
We love welcoming whole families, siblings and parents alike. Families with two dancers receive 10% off the lesser tuition, and families with three or more dancers receive 15% off.

Payments & auto-pay
All families keep a card or bank account on file and are enrolled in auto-pay. Tuition is due on the 1st; a $25 late fee applies after the 5th, and declined e-payments incur a $35 fee. There are no refunds or credits on tuition or fees, and monthly tuition is required regardless of absences.
Makeup classes
Missed classes may be made up in a comparable class within your dancer's age and level, up to 5 makeups per season, within 15 days of the missed class. Email us at least 24 hours before your desired makeup class. There are no makeups for scheduled studio closures.
Inclement weather
If weather closes the studio, we'll send a studio-wide email and post on Facebook and Instagram. Missed classes follow the regular makeup policy; tuition is not prorated for closures.
Class placement
Dancers are placed by age and/or grade as of September 30, and instructors assess each child in the first few weeks to confirm the right level. Dancers may enroll in a younger age group, but not an older one, and the Director has the final say in placements.
Withdrawal
We ask for 30 days' written notice by email to withdraw. Families are responsible for tuition through the notice period, and withdrawals before October 15 may have the first costume installment credited to their account.
Pickup & drop-off
Dancers wait inside until a parent or guardian arrives, and late pickups incur $1 per minute after 5 minutes. Parents of dancers under 10 should park and walk their dancer to and from the studio door.
